RCATS Employment Application
RCATS - Substitute Van Driver

The Substitute Van Driver is responsible for safely transporting clients and passengers to and from various pickup and destination locations in Randolph County. Passengers may include senior adults, developmentally and physically disabled persons, among other members of the general public. Hours will vary upon scheduling needs during hours of operation Monday-Friday. Applicants must be at least 21 years old with a clean driving record. Pre-employment and random drug testing, criminal background, and MVR screening.

Center Director - Randleman Senior Center

The Randolph Senior Adults Association seeks a Senior Center Director in Randleman. The Center Director provides direct access to resources and a variety of programs for seniors, outreach and education to the community regarding the concerns of seniors, and advocacy on their behalf. Someone who can ensure smooth operations of the senior center and related operations by following local, state, and federal guidelines. This person must supervise and coordinate center staff and volunteers, ensure outstanding service is delivered to seniors attending the center, and support RSAA’s mission and vision statement. 
Some of the essential duties and responsibilities:

Develop and implement the monthly calendar of events and activities.
Recruitment, training, and maintain a volunteer base.
Submit monthly reports.
Order meals.
Communicate with the Nutrition Director regarding all programs and services and perform other related duties as needed. 
Maintains a positive working relationship with local businesses, service agencies, churches, and other non-profits to promote the agency's mission.
Compliance with policies and procedures for Senior Center Certification (Scope).
Maintains and submits reports according to Federal and State Standards.
Assists with and promotes special events and fundraisers, such as Volunteer Recognition.
Supervises Assistant Director, NCBA trainees, and volunteers; creates training and development plans.
Represent the Senior Center locally, advocate for seniors, and conduct at least two annual presentations to clubs and organizations.
Completes at least 15 hours of required training according to certification standards.

Must be a high school graduate or equivalent, have at least two years’ experience working with seniors, have current CPR and First Aid certification, or be willing to be certified. You must have a valid NC driver’s license.
